• MIF partners with a John Hopkins trained ophthalmologist who donates his time and skill for FREE. He has performed hundreds of needed eye exams and cataract surgeries that have saved the eyesight of many.
• “Lupe” was brought to MIF as an eight-year-old with no ability to walk and crawled on her knees to get around. She did not have much hope for her future. Today after many surgeries she is able to get around with crutches and has hope to walk unassisted in the future. “Lupe” leads a local kids bible study with her engaging smile and sweet spirit.
• MIF searches opportunities in Mexico for life-changing operations and has worked out an arrangement with the local hospital for discounted procedures.

“My daughters are; Guadalupe Flores Rodriguez, 12 years old, and Beatriz Alexxa Flores Rodriguez, 1 year 10 mos. As you know Lupita couldn’t walk, but her life has improved 100% after surgeries, and the help of Canadian crutches she is now walking and playing with her friends. Lupita and I are very thankful for all the help that was made available to us. Beatriz Alexxa was born with vaginal deformation, and also because your kind heart my daughter’s deformation was corrected with surgery.”

The poor in Mexico often live in one or two room homes made of wood scraps, plastic and concrete. The roofs are a continual problem and massive leaks leave very little dry areas in the home during the rainy season. MIF has partnered with local volunteers by providing the roofing supplies needed to repair the roofs.

Since 2003 MIF has had numerous opportunities to improve education in several third world countries.

• Recently MIF provided 60 reconditioned computers to a private school in the Dominican Republic.
• MIF has filled hundreds of backpacks with school supplies for children in Tijuana.
• MIF has provided donated reconditioned computers to Mexico and the inner-city.

MIF Donates 20 Computers to Orphans In Africa & Ethiopia

In the United States one baby is aborted every 26 seconds and over 1 million babies are aborted each year.  Since 1973 there have been over 60 million abortions in the U.S. The World Health Organization estimates there are 40,000,000 to 50,000,000 abortions per year worldwide.

The statistics are devastating. MIF has teamed with Women’s Care Centers who provide counseling and ultrasounds to pregnant girls/women considering abortion. Of these high risk for abortion candidates, over 95% decided against have an abortion once they are able to see their baby with an ultrasound.

In the past, MIF has partnered with a nonprofit organization who has provided 80% funding for new ultrasound machines when they receive 20% in matching funds from outside contributions. Because of this opportunity, MIF has partnered in purchasing ultrasound sound machines saving thousands of babies over the years!

Tijuana Children – MIF For 10 years MIF has sponsored a 2-4 times monthly Saturday breakfast and bible study for approximately 200 children in a very poor section of Tijuana. The children also received a donation of Rice and Beans to bring home to the family.

Sports –  MIF provided a cement sports court with bleachers for a youth ministry in Tijuana. More then 300 teenagers meet weekly for biblical-based fellowship and mentoring, and now also get to enjoy playing soccer, basketball and other sports.
