OVERVIEW
Maximum Impact Foundation’s outreach into the Dominican Republic was designed to support microfinance and offer complementary services with the intention of empowering families to leave the confines of poverty and enjoy lives of dignity, purpose and hope. Our partnership strives to accomplish the mission by focusing on two core areas;
- Household income (credit-led micro finance services)
- Complementary Services (education, vocational training, preventative healthcare and spiritual/emotional support.)
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Microfinance: in order to break the cycle of extreme poverty, families must develop the capacity to generate income. We provide access to capital and financial services to facilitate the development and growth of a small business.
Complimentary services include Associates (borrowers) being able to receive business management education, literacy and vocational training, and preventative healthcare services. This ensures families have the tools necessary to maintain a successful business.
Target Population Profile
The targeted population includes families who are very poor, who have little formal education and limited access to banking services. They are required to develop income generated activity which will be approved by the fellow loan group members and supervising loam officers before funds are disbursed. Contact us if there are any questions.
Organizational objectives
The Maximum Impact Foundation’s outreach is guided by the following core values:
- Glorify and honour God
- Love and serve our neighbours
- Achieve results with excellence
